Public Hearing a Good Move: One Man's Opinion

It may only mean 8 full time jobs, but it beats the hell out of waiting around for some training athletes to come to PG in 2010.

All Roads- RV was granted a hearing at Monday night’s Council meeting after being turned down for the business on their existing site. Never mind the fact that they hold a business license taken out in the RV’s name, or the fact that the lane was closed, they were being told to shut down their business because they were in non- compliance.

Now finally they will get a hearing.  The questions being asked Monday night had all the appearances of having a trial without the benefit of the accused  presenting  its side, then holding a hanging and bringing the coffin containing the remains before a meeting to determine whether they were guilty or not .

1st Ave finally began to look like it wasn't some abandoned air strip in recent month’s thanks, in large measure, to All Roads setting up shop on the Avenue.

If it were a large super store coming to town we would have turned the street into gold to attract them,  but I fear that when it is just 8 locals folks trying to make a living, all sorts of little obstacles are being tossed on the road hoping they will crash and burn and subsequently go away .

What a pity.

I’m Meisner and that is one man’s opinion.
