Game On! Cougar's Playoffs on T.V.!

Brandi Brodsky, Business Manager of the Prince George Cougars says she hopes the league is right in that fans tend to come out to support their team when the game is being broadcast on TV in their area.

 Brodsky says, "I know we are taking a leap of faith in broadcasting all of the Vancouver, Prince George series free to the public , but you know" she added, “the league says that fans want to be in the stands when the game is in their city to show just how much they are behind the team and we're hoping that holds true here”. 

Brodsky  is encouraged by ticket sales, although there is a way to go "We had about 85% of the season ticket holders get their playoff tickets already "  but she realizes Prince George  fans often leave everything to the last minute "So we're hoping that enough of them show up to make it look like the fans are behind them, we're going to find out next Monday and Tuesday."

The entire series will be  shown on Shaw Cable  "We are hoping that providing these games on cable TV free for the whole Vancouver, Prince George series that we will create some new interest in hockey in the city."
 
Under the plan of Shaw Cable, the company will choose one series and will carry it in its entirety. 

No announcement has been received as yet on which series will be carried in the Western Hockey league following the PG –Vancouver series.
