What a surprise. I never would have expected the blue eyed Arabs to gouge us this way. LOL
Until the people of Prince George can all decide to isolate one gas co., so that they get very little or no business these high prices will continue. If one gas co was continually isolated and all gas was bought from its competitors, it would not be long before their prices came down or they went out of business. Whats the chance of a large number of people acutally making this happen?? In this town I would say next to none. People will just continue to pay the high prices and the gas companys know this. Complaining is our national pastime. Actually taking actions is rare.
Just think, we will be able to tell our grand kids about the good old days when we had fuel!
And we used to use trucks to bring in eggs from hundreds of miles away! But real eggs are too expensive, and no one can get a quota locally, so that's why we all eat powdered eggs.
Would it not be great, if every time the greedy companys put up the price of gas. Some one blew holes in their Pipelines..Then they would have something to spend their outragest profits on. Yes the price of gas would go though the roof,But their profits would be NIL,All the pipelines are unguarded, YOU CEOs ARE GREEDY ASSES. Just a thought.
Remember..THE BOSTON TEA PARTY...THE BRITISH TAXED THEIR TEA.The Americans boarded the British ship and threw the tea into the ocean.(Citizens with Balls),Not in Canada you say..You are most likly right.
These gas prices are outrageous and frankly I am getting mad. We need to do something, like stop shopping at their attached convenience stores. We do need to purchase gas, but that would be it. Let them suffer the consequences!!
All the fuel in town except ESSO comes from the Husky refinery so maybe if we boycot ESSO that might do it.Maybe we only buy from ESSO then our intown refinery might get the point?I would sure hate to bring hardship to the employes of these gas stations they have done nothing wrong.
That was the price last week in Vancouver and surrounding area.

Today that is the price in Penticton and Kelowna, and 2 cents more in Vernon and Kamloops ... 5 cents more in Ft St. John

Ashcroft and the Fraser Valley seem to be the cheapest at about 10% less.

That site shows that pg prices are now 107.9 I have not been out on this terrible day, so I cannot confirm that.
Want to hit the Esso Stations? Just have 10 people with signs outside the stations asking people to shop at another station. Wonder if they would get an injuction.
time to take out the bikes :)
