Regional Board To Welcome Jay Hill

The Regional District of Fraser Fort George meets this afternoon. Four presentations will be made, including one by M.P. Jay Hill.

The Conservative government Whip is expected to provide an update on activities on Parliament Hill and answer questions.

The City of Prince George’s Mark Fercho, will make a presentation on the City’s Wildfire Protection Plan.

The Deputy Assessor with the BC Assessment Authority will be in attendance to make a presentation regarding the activities of the BC Assessment Authority, and the Ministry of Water Land and Air Protection will present an outline of activities planned for the Robson Valley.

The Regional District will also look at funding for the Prince George and Mackenzie Libraries. The Board will be asked to approve a three year contract worth a maximum grant of $150 thousand for 2006.
