Pine Valley Golf Sets Opening Date

The City says it is still working on trying to deal with the pine beetle damage at the Pine Valley Golf Course, but has set May 5th as the official opening date for the 2006 golf season.
According to the City, clean up work is nearly complete, netting is being installed in some locations as a safety measure, and some holes are being "reconfigured"
All 18 holes will be open on the 5th of May.
Pine valley lost hundreds of trees to the mountain pine beetle.
