Dave Lea (far right) and company of Cranbrook Hill Masonry set up the stone to reconstruct a fountain that will form part of the exhibition at the Northern BC Home Garden and Leisure show which goes this weekend at Exhibition grounds.

Returning after missing the past few years will be headliner Shell Busey of the popular Home Show.

Doors open this evening, and the event winds up on Sunday.

Is that a motor home I see parked on City property in the background?
The PGX this year..Are the Midway Ride owners and staff, the people that run the PGX, the people that have diplays at the PGX, ARE THESE PEOPLE GOING TO BE ALLOWED TO PARK ON CITY LAND, OR IS THE ..CITY... GOING TO TICKET ITSELF IF THE DO???..I SAY NO TRAILERS ON CITY LAND DURING THE PGX OR ANY TIME, CONCERTS, HOME SHOWS CURLING,..MAKE EVERY ONE USE RV PARKS.OR DROP THE STUPID RULE YOU MORONS..
Sorry for the above spelling mistakes. When you get upset with the Elected City Morons, spelling takes a back seat.
Let's face it, it was one thing to have overnight camping restrictions 30 years ago when the issue was primarily tents or tent trailers. Those should still not be allowed on parking or anywhere else for that matter. They are not self contained and need amenities for health reasons.

Motor homes are different altogether. As someone commented in the papers this morning, what happens when a large religious group comes to town to use city facilities for their meetings? Many typically bring a motor home and park it next to the arena. The same for swim meets I have noticed, or any other athletic meets that are provincial in nature. I recall a national dog agility evenet here a few years ago. Same thing. Motor homes were parked overnight at the track.

Perhaps the City itself is the largest culprit.
