Regional District of Fraser Fort George has received the financial statements for expense and payments made to directors and committee members for the year ending December 31, 2005.

There are two things to note from the list printed below:

One,  there are four  directors who did not finish the year  because they  either  did not run for re-election, or  failed to  be re-elected, they are Cliff Dezel, Tom Briggs, Betty Abbs and Michael Monroe.

The second note is that the four who were elected in their place, (marked with an x beside their name) only received payments post election of November 19th so it would be expected that their expenses would be the lowest on the list.

WOW,

the mayor sucked the most by far out of the regional district i see.
Add that to the money wasted from the cities coffers ,and the sports funding to get an all expense paid trip to the olympics etc.

He leads a very comfy life style.

Colin, can i borrow a few dollars, so i can afford to watch the olympics here in 4 years....I am not greedy, i do not need to fly to Italy to watch them.
I will just drive down.
The hotels and tickets are kinda pricey though. Hence my needing your help. It seems only fair really that you help me. After all you spent my money since i am a tax payer, going to watch them in Italy.
Great to see the public disclosure.
Very good marty... the mayor has been a busy money spender. After all this is in his words, the last 4 year term...so has to see the world on our nickel.
It's easy to criticize the renumeration of a board member. Especially if one stand out above the rest. But, one has to realize that the rates were determined by a set of quidelines. The amount of time spent serving, the civic position of the board member, the amount of travel involved etc.

Serving on these boards take up a lot of time and energy. I don't begrudge any of them being fairly compensated for their time.

I can only assume that the extra compensation for Mayor Kinsley was agreed on by the board. Chester
