Canoeists Found

Two canoeists, reported missing on the Salmon River,  have been found.

The two had put in at the 600 forest service road, and were supposed to meet a friend at the Salmon River Bridge at a specific time last night.  When they failed to show,  RCMP and Search and Rescue were called in.

The two were found early this morning.  They had set up camp last night to  wait out the storm that had pounded the region.  Search  and Rescue located the two and  brought them out this morning.  The two are safe and sound.
