Youth Injured in Blast

A Prince George teenager has  suffered burns to his face, after the utility shed he was in on Riverdale Road, was the scene of an explosion and fire earlier today.

The teen was said to be  making some repairs to an amplifier when  there was an explosion.  Although the exact cause of the blast is not known, there were propane tanks being stored in the shed.

The teen  was taken to PGRH, but it is believed he will be sent to Vancouver for burn treatment.
