Small Plane Crashes at P.G. Airport

There is very little information available, but RCMP are  investigating  the  crash of a small plane at Prince George Airport. 

A guide outfitter flying a Cessna 185 on a flight from Kelowna to Scoop Lake, had stopped at Prince George Airport to refuel.  The aircraft crashed on take off late this afternoon. 

The Pilot, as yet unidentified, survived the impact but was injured and has been sent to hospital. There  is no information  on the extent of  the pilot’s injuries.  The pilot was the lone occupant on the small plane.

Police were called to the scene and are investigating the mishap along with the Ministry of Transport.
