Prince George Mayor Colin Kinsley has had what has been labelled an informal phone call with Hockey Enforcers promoter Darryl Wolski.  According to Wolski, the late Friday night discussion centered on the possibility of restricting access to the Battle of the Hockey Enforcers event to those who are 19  an over.

"I am 100% agreeable to this kind of request and age stipulation” says promoter Wolski.

City Council will meet on Monday for it's regular meeting, at which time, Mayor Kinsley will reintroduce the Hockey Enforcer's matter for Council's reconsideration.  It is possible a new motion to let the event  go ahead, may meet with a more favourable response this time.

Councillor Shery Sethen had wanted further information on legal  ramifications before the last vote.  The legal ramifications are still murky as  damages could only be awarded if in      Enforcers Promoter Darryl Wolski      fact there was a final contract signed, and both sides on that matter have differing views.  Councilor Cliff Dezel missed the special meeting on Wednesday night, but plans to be there Monday.  The two votes could swing things around and  have the event going ahead as planned. for August 27th at CN Centre.
