The Quesnel R.C.M.P. Drug Section has pulled over a vehicle in the two mile flat area of Highway 97, and found cocaine that was pre-wrapped and ready for sale. The amount of cocaine and its estimated street value are not being released as the investigation is ongoing, says Constable Luiz Sardinha of the Quesnel Drug Section. As well as cocaine, over $500 in cash was seized.

R.C.M.P. say evidence at the scene indicates that both suspects, an adult male and a 16-year old female, were trafficking in cocaine. Both suspects were known to police and have been arrested. Names will not be released until formal charges have been laid.
