Prince George R.C.M.P. today seized two counterfeit American hundred dollar bills. Police are advising the public  and the business community to be careful when accepting any type of large bill, especially American $100 bills.

As well, the fake Canadian $5 bills that began surfacing a couple of weeks ago in Prince George are still being found. R.C.M.P. have seized nine of the counterfeit $5 dollar bills since Monday.

If you are unsure about the authenticity of money you have received, please contact the R.C.M.P.

If you are unsure about the authenticity of your money, trade it to someone else first, THEN notify the RCMP.
