Despite the promise of rain, today's Canada Day Celebrations drew an impressive crowd to Ft. George Park.  Families came out to watch and experience food and entertainment from various ethnicities.  Festivities will go well into the night, with the annual fireworks kicking off at 11pm.

People should try to remember that Fort George Park is in a residential neighbourhood. IMO the best Canada Days are the ones with pouring rain (most fortunately) since they mean less garbage & busted glass to clean up.
