Police Warn of Thefts from BCR Compounds

Theives are  at work in the BCR area.   

The yard surrounding Linden Fabricating on Milwaukee Way in Prince George was broken into sometime over the past wekend and theives got away with an unknown amount of  wire.  Copper wire is a hot  ticket item right now.

Prince George RCMP say theives  got in by cutting the fence, not just in one, but several spots.  Police say theives are concealing the breach in the fence so they can come back when  they have more time to  finish their job. 

Once inside the compound, they will take anything they think may have value.

Police are advising property owners to make a perimeter sweep of the  property every day and to carefully examine any fencing for any signs of tampering.
