Gosh, another outage!
I am so glad this news was shared with us.
Some things one can not imagine not being informed of!
If you lived in Valemont or for that matter in Bear Lake or for that matter in College Heights, or the VLA and your power goes off you would like to know whether you are the only one and when it might come back on.

If the only way you or your neighbors have to get that info happens to be a lap top with an air card connection or a blackberry, you might want to know whether you will be living in the dark for a day or two, or if you will be able to eat at home.

That was the case in Valemont and if you don't like to see the story, why in the world would you read it? More over why in the world would you take the time to comment on it?

If we can help someone by informing them of what is going on we will continue to do it.

Meisner
I guess the Lebanese get informed too.
What can I say, other then to give my heartfelt thanks?
I actually had no idea that the hundreds of people? without power in that vast Valemont area had access to a blackberry or lap top.
Now that is what I call reporting!
My sincere apologies Mr. Meisner?
Matter of fact, I neglected to mention I read some of the so called news out of boredom.
One or two items a day hardly qualifies as being time consuming.
Seems I read the same news items day after day-some get pretty old-guess I just check to see if any new comments of interest by posters.
At times the posters responses are far more informative than the initial reporting on a subject.
I also read the customary THREE headlines of the Citizen. They never do get the classifieds up to date-usually the next day.
You are correct. Reporting must be increasingly difficult.
At least if it is done well, and the news is searched out.
Too much of the sase old-same old!
