Infrastructure Planning Grants Announced

Fraser Lake is one of 49 B.C. communities to receive funding under the province’s Infrastructure Planning Grant program.
The $10,000 grant will be used to conduct a water treatment system pilot study. The study will identify the most cost-effective water treatment system and investigate the potential of
using treatment processes like those being used in Europe, Quebec and Ontario.
The funding Infrastructure Planning Grant Program offers grants up to $10,000 to help local governments plan, design and manage infrastructure.  
Most of the grants awarded this year are related to water treatment and sewage treatment.
