Prince George RCMP have issued these photos of the two escapees from the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre

The two inmates broke from a Prince George Regional Correctional Centre work crew about 11:30 this morning.

The two men were part of a crew working along the highway near the jail. Police say the two ditched their jail issue clothing, so it is not clear what they may be wearing.

Colby Selby Johnson is on the left, in the colour shot, he is 22 years old, is 5’3" tall, weighs 119 lbs has green eyes and brown hair.

The other, Paul Andrew Thompson (black and white photo on the right) is 42 years old, 5’7" tall, weighs 154 lbs and has blue eyes.

No striped uniforms? No one on horseback with a shotgun? No trackin' dogs? Oh! What was I thinkin'? Cool Hand Luke. I gotta stop watching movies. Job security fer lawyers, Crown counsel, judges, cops...all of 'em.

They shouldn't allow them to wear civilian clothes under the red coveralls. All they do is strip the red stuff off and they look just like anyone else.

I was up at the University when the two kids ran away from up there as well. Seems strange, 15 or so convicts, one guard, not even with a gun. The resources now spent by the police trying to get these guys back will not be reflected in the extra time they have to serve.
