The Prince George Cougars have selected a new colour commentator for the upcoming season.

Former CKPG employee Gil Botelho will be in the broadcast booth alongside play-by- play man Ron St. Clair.

Gil has been a big Cougars fan for years and had been in the regular seats in his Cougars jersey for most home games.  He says he is extremely honoured and excited to be part of the team.

Botelho takes the post left vacant when Mike Hawes left to join the Spruce Kings.

Would that be Mike 'Hawes'?

And could you find a third-grade teacher to show you how to use an apostrophe, please?
Hey mike i didn't know you were German, old Haasey!
I am glad he has a good job, and is fond of the Cougars as I might have been had they ever decided to play real hockey instead of what I consider WWE on ice. Don't feel bad Cougars you are not the only ones who fail to hit the mark. The whole NHL is in the same arena of ill repute as far as I am concerned.
Ever notice the NHL players are making 7 figures in salary and can not afford a razor?
Seriously gofaster? If you don't like fighting or stubble, might I suggest that you watch figure skating or curling.
I wouldn't say I don't like fighting MrPG. If I want to see that I will go to a boxing, judo or full contact match but they break out the skates and sticks and I am gone.
