I was hoping to talk about the $20,000 dollars that is being sent to the City of Prince George to look into burning beetle trash wood, but someone beat me to it on this site.

You can’t have Grandma using her wood stove to make up some pies, iIf you thought you would like to get your fire pit burning, forget it, if you need to burn leaves you’ll be busted,  but the City can do a study to see if burning beetle wood slash will create a problem.

 Firstly did the people from the province stay too long at the 19th hole?  Did they pack too much into the cart or are they just plain, stupid, stupid, stupid? I

f you are going to have a law for one group then how in the world can you justify another law for the people who make those laws?

While on the subject, we still can’t seem to get it through our heads that industry accounts for the major share of our pollution problems. Oh yes so that you can shoulder the blame, we are told that road dust is the major culprit , that fits as well as saying that the reason that the city stinks is because it is the smell of money.

It may be, but at what cost?  To somehow suggest that its all our fault that the air quality is bad, is a bit of a stretch now isn’t it?  

Now will we ever get real on the matter?  Of course not.  It is much easier to draft a by law in which  Joe average citizen will be forced to bite the bullet. 

o after industry  which creates the problem?  Absolutely not .
