Prince George RCMP have their first charge relating to the baits cars now being used in the city (Auto Theft Up in PG).

A 16-year old male has been charged after an incident in which one of the bait cars was taken in July. RCMP officers surrounded the car after stopped in the Strathcona area and caught the suspect when he attempted to run from the area.

The hidden video surveillance camera captured all of the suspect’s actions on tape. RCMP say the program is highly effective provincially and it will help combat auto crime in Prince George.

Excellent! Sadly, this punk will be back on the street in no time.

I think they should hook up a cattle prod to the seat, so it gives a whole new meaning to the term 'joy-ride'.
Do they have a bait beer program as well?

I'm surprised that the defense lawyers haven't developed a case that includes connivance, collusion, coercion or entrapment to set these innocent people up. I can imagine that the temptation would be too much to resist. Chester
Darn, I was hoping to see a video of that surprised little punk.
Owl,

if you find it, please send me the address!
