Harris Working to Bring Harper to P.G.

Prince George M.P. D ick Harris, is hoping to have Conservative leader Stephen Harper make a stop in this region.
Harris says he has been talking with Harper and if his schedule permits, the trip is in the cards.
Harris says he plans to spend the summer traveling through the constituency meeting with the people he represents. He added it would be nice if the Conservative leader could see first hand just how much damage the Pine Beetle has done in this region of Canada.
Harris says we should be receiving aid from the Federal government but David Emerson (who recently visited the area) did not mention anything about possible disaster relief for the region. The attention that has been paid to the beetle problem by the Federal Liberal party has been a travesty says Harris.
Harris also plans to heads to Montana later this month to attend the court hearings into the efforts by some US producers to continue to have the border closed to Canadian beef.

Dick Harris is going to travel to meet constituents! How exciting?? Dick Harris has almost got it in the cards to bring Harper here! Now that calls for a "party" for the "party?" Dick Harris is heading for Montana for court hearings over our beef! How terribly impressive?
It is hard for me to get enthused over what Dick Harris does for his constituents. Seems like he just works to get elected for the paycheque that comes with the turf. No? Might be nice if he could make the news by doing something constructive.
What does he really do, or what has he done, that has put a "feather in his cap?" I don't believe he can hold a candle in keeping up with the notoriety of this city's Mayor?
By the way, where is the Mayor???
