Prince George RCMP are investigating an overnight shooting which has put a young man in hospital.

Police say they got a 9-1-1 call telling them to attend to a residence in the 1400 block of Nation Crescent.

When police arrived, they found a 20 year old man suffering from what appeared to be gunshot woulds.  He was taken to Prince George Regional Hospital where he is said to be in stable condition.

Police do not believe this is a random act of violence.  The Serious Crimes Unit is investigating.

Ha ha ha..just say no to drugs. What else is new?
I'm not exactly sure how to reply to the 'Harbinger' post about a boy being shot in our city because of drugs.

Maybe he's too young to remember a time in this city when someone getting shot was disturbing and almost unheard of.
Maybe he's too young to remember when people didn't die because they owed money to drug dealers.
When someone kicks in your door and beats you sensless and the steals everything you own so they can avoid being shot like that boy was, maybe then you'll quit laughing.
I never used to lock my doors because I never needed to. Now, I'm not so sure.

How's that gun control thing working out?
Was It about drugs? I was guessing. Was I right? Whaddya know, eh?
