Hold That Tiger!

Dawson Creek RCMP  have captured a tiger that was on the loose  following a crash at Highway 97 and Braden Road this morning.

Police say the animal was being transported in one of the vehicles and escaped when the vehicles collided.  

Although  police were quick to issue notice about  the tiger roaming the area, they have yet to indicate how many people were  involved in the accident, if any were injured, and if so, how seriously.

The accident area remains off limits and traffic is being re-routed around the scene.  That will likely remain the case until early this evening.
