Police Look For Driver Who Bolted

Prince George RCMP are continuing to seek the driver of a car that struck a telephone pole on Winslow Drive across from the Hart Highland ski hill last night.

There were three occupants in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver fled the scene of the accident on foot, one passenger escaped injury and the other passenger was left in the vehicle fighting for their life.

According to police, alcohol and speed were definite factors in the crash 

The pinned occupant of the car was given first aid treatment by participants of a first aid class which just happened to be in session near the scene of the crash. Police say the injured party’s life was saved by their efforts at the scene.
