Prince George Cougars couldn't get on the scoreboard and were blanked by the Vancouver Giants. 

The Giants  got off to a jump start with a  short handed goal by Jason Reese, and never looked back. The Giants Jonathon Blum scored  the second goal in the first period.

In the second period Brendon Mikkelson scored  the only goal in the second period.  Then in the third period, it was all J.D. Watt with the hat trick, the last one with less than one third of a second on the clock.

The Giants out shot the Cougars 33 - 14.
