Maudsley, Busted, But Bilked Millions From Clients

A Mutual fund salesman, hooked on gambling, cocaine and booze, has come before the BC Securities Commission. 

Paul Robert Maudsley and Shaylor Management defrauded over 20 clients of more than $1.6 million dollars over a period of six years; most of those who he bilked were over the age of 70. 

The company Maudsley originally worked with (Investors) paid out more than 2.3 million dollars to cover the losses to clients and former clients. 

Maudsley had worked for the firm on Vancouver Island. He convinced his clients to cash in their mutual funds and give them to him for investment; he would then take the money and spend it

It's nice to see that the employer stepped up and paid the money back.The only thing missing from the story was wether or not these people had bought any shares in the river ranch.
