The seventh national conference of the Canadian Rural Health Research Society, an organization of researchers and their community partners, is underway at the Civic Centre in Prince George.

Participants will be able to learn about and discuss recent research results and how to put those results into practice.

They will also have the chance to share knowledge gained from research on rural and remote populations, explore partnerships to create new research teams, and take part in developing knowledge exchange networks.

Researchers, decision makers, practitioners, educators, community members and others interested in rural and remote health are expected to take part in the three day conference.

"explore partnerships" .... I think that is very important ..... after all, the Arctic has more or less been explored by now so there is little else left ....
