Two Hunters Die In Crash

Prince George RCMP are investigating a fatal crash between a four wheel ATV and a logging truck.

Tha crash took place yesterday on the Pelican Forest Service Road by the Shesta Lake Recreation Site in the Blackwater area southwest of Prince George.

Two hunters from the Lower mainland were on the ATV and died at the scene. Their names have not been released.

The driver of the logging truck was not hurt.

Backroads, logging roads, skid roads, they all intersect at unexpected times when you are out enjoying the scenery. A tragic price to pay for a weekend out hunting in our great outdoors. I feel so sorry for the family and friends and logging truck driver involved. My condolences and prayers to their families. Chester
