Prince George City Council has adopted the master plan for the development of Carrie Jane Grey Park.

Although the  plan has been available for public comment for a few months,  there has been no public response, not one written or verbal comment  submitted to the City.

That may be in part to the fact  user groups were involved in the development of the final "Master Plan".

The  85 page report calls for the Park to be  developed incrementally.  It  allows for possible expansion of the YMCA,  looks at the development of a trail system that will link with the Heritage River Trail system via  a pedestrian underpass @ Highway 16 (this is the overbudget project that is currently under review) and details improvements to landscaping, pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

The report  also praises the work that  has already  been completed, like the Senior Mens Baseball facility.

The report also highlights the  new tournament level Horseshoe pitch and clubhouse as well as the national competition sized BMX track and clubhouse.

No surprise here either....
It seems to be all about money with the city....
sad state of affairs.
I like the colours on the map. They are pretty!
Someone help me here. I just checked the City site and can`t seem to find this master plan. It certainly is not on the front page as a link to invite feedback. HELP!
