The new head coach of the Prince George Cougars liked what he saw in the Cats 3-0 shutout of the visiting Rebels. Drew Schoneck, who will make his coaching debut Friday night against the Kelowna Rockets, says he’s really excited to go behind the Prince George bench.
Asked about his coaching style, Schoneck noted his priority is to stress the defensive part of the game. A strong believer of a consistent work ethic, Schoneck added a key for success is to sustain that work ethic for an entire game.

Drew Schoneck, a former assistant coach in the Western Hockey League, takes over the associate head coaching position with the Cougars after 5 months as  GM and Head Coach of the BCHL Powell River Kings.

Lots of luck there Drew, even the immortal, important, Dallas Thompson was a flop....
I think that 98% of the Cougars fans can figure out how to fix the hockey teams problems. The Cougars shoulda done this and they shoulda done that. I believe there should be no shortage of Cougar experts. It is just a matter of finding one that will work.
Dallas Thompson goes 1-2 and he's declared a 'flop'? Reading his posts, Gofaster clearly derives some sort of pleasure by seeing the team fail.

I agree with Harbinger, there's certainly no shortage of Cougars 'experts' in this town...
Oh you bet MrPG...
They are an extreme waste of money in my opinion...
move them to another town...would suit me fine...

and you MrPG are more than entitled to your opinion...even though they may vary from mine...
