Kelowna Rockets earned a weekend split with a 3-2 victory over the Cougars in Prince George. The two teams exchanged goals over the first two periods before Kelowna scored the winner on a third period power play goal. Nick Drazenovic and Dana Tyrell scored singles for the Cats who were tied at one after the first period.  It was 2-2 following forty minutes.  Real Cyr suffered the loss in the PG net while Rockets goalie Torrie Jung recorded his first ever WHL victory. Drew Schoneck dropped to 1-1 as the Cougars Head Coach.
