UNBC Northern Timberwolves women’s basketball team suffered a first loss this B.C. Colleges Athletic Association season.

Host Capilano College beat UNBC 68-61 to earn a weekend split against the Prince George based team. UNBC won the opener 81-71. After five games into the BCAA basketball season, UNBC and Capilano College share second place at 4 and 1, a game behind first place Langara College.

The UNBC Northern Timberwolves men’s basketball team fell to 1-3 after dropping a pair of games to Capilano College 91-59 and 111-101.
