A 21 year old man will be appearing before a Justice of the Peace today to  face charges related to the theft of truck and two new quads.

Prince George RCMP say they got a call just before 9 Sunday morning from a man who said his truck and  two new quads had been stolen from an address in the Hart.  Police located the truck  in less than two hours off the road at the intersection of Northwood Pulpmill Road and Noranda Road.

The quads had been taken off the truck and police followed the tracks in the snow to  the 7800 block of Bellamy Road  right to a garage on that street.  Officers stayed on the scene, while other officers  did the necessary work to get a search warrant  which was executed  just before 6:00 last evening.

The two quads were recovered, and a male and female were arrested at the scene.  The 17 year old female was later released to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

The 21 year old male faces several charges: theft of two quads , theft of truck, possession of stolen property and failing to comply with probation.

So, will he be released on "strict conditions" HeeHee?!

Stolen at 9am, found truck at 11am, tracked to house couple hours?, then what took the longest of the whole deal was getting permission to walk in on the somebicth.

Seems it the non criminals that have more to fear from the law.
Hey, at least they are pointed in the right direction for a change. This was a perfect exercise in police work, let's see more of it. The working man doesn't have any more money to pay tickets.
Yes, exactly, we should all be able to drive as we please on the roads. The working man never drives like an idiot, impaired etc.I don't want to see the cops around unless someone breaks into my house then I expect the crime to be solved within the hour like on CSI.Its' the fault of the police that all these bad guys are around town comitting these crimes. Whoops! Just realized that I'm on a electronic newspaper website.I thought I was on policehaters.com or resist.ca. Sorry, please disregard the above.
Its too bad the fellow that had his truck and quads ripped of could not deal with these pathetic LOSERS for a few minutes. Then justice might be served properly.Bust their hands good so every time they wipe their butts for the next few months they will think about what they did.
I bet they are already out on the street again.
Failing to comply with probation!!! Does it look like he gives a dam about his probation? So, how about locking the little puke up for a few months?

Or better yet, get him on a chain gang and shovel snow, chop wood or do any other meaningful type of work that others in the community would appreciate.

The reality is this, we spend more time and money chasing these vandals around and they just laugh at us. What a pathetic excuse of justice we have in place to deal with the likes of these low lifes. Time to oust the bleeding hearts and begin to deal more firmly with the problem. Chester
I agree with Chester on this one.

And add this....DAMN GOOD JOB, by the police.
This is what I like to read, not that they shot unarmed people, or gave Bobby next door a ticket for doing 95 kms/hr in the 90 zone...or took hunters guns while parading around a boat launch like a babboon.

Keep it up please !
Sure seems odd that they don't name this guy...... after all they know him on a first name basis. I think if the truth were told about the search it would go more like this.... "Police follow tracks from known felons home to stolen pickup in ditch". The cops go to this house so much it's rediculous to think they wouldn't start their search there.

Of course it must be frustrating to them that this yahoo isn't in jail where he belongs. It is the bleedin hearts in the courts that are responsible for this guys criminal career. Hmmm I wonder if he was in trouble with the law since he was 13 or 14.... nah probably just started when he turned 19.
I think someone spent too much time under the bridge....with Don M. ?
