In a game tied three times, the Prince George Cougars prevailed 7-3 in Kelowna. Two goals 22 seconds apart in the third period gave the Rockets a 3-2 lead. But the Cougars responded with five  unanswered goals for a third road victory this WHL season. Eric Hunter tied the game at 3 before Dana Tyrell scored what proved to be the winner. Jordie Deagle, Nick Drazenovic, Evan Fuller and Dan Gendur also added Cougar goals. Tyrell’s second goal was an empty netter.  Jordan White posted the victory in the Prince George net.
