Two Robberies in Town Last Night

Two unrelated robberies last night resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

The first incident  was a hold up at the Super Save Gas on Continental  Way around 10:00 p.m. The  lone suspect threatened the clerk and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He fled in a light coloured Oldsmobile.  Police have the plate number and that investigation continues.

About 45 minutes later,  a Prince George Cabbie was robbed by two males in the 1600 block of Ingledew.  The two suspects were  soon  picked up in the 17th and Juniper area.  They were taken into custody without  indicent.  The two, aged 21 and 24 were to appear in court this morning.  The cab driver was not injured in the robbery and the money was recovered.
