The rest of the Country will get an update on the  Mountain Pine beetle this week as the annual Forest Pest Management fourm  gets underway tomorrow in Ottawa.

Although only a short  period of time will be spent on updating the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic, there will be  extensive talk on global warming, domestic and international research as well as discussion on other invasive threats to Canada's forests.

This is the 54th  year for the forum which has a reputation for getting all levels of government and industry talking about  issues such as invasive species, regulations,  and forest management.
