I have a Christmas complaint with Fox news. It seems they are using Christmas to rewrite Christian history. I don't consider myself hugely religious, but I don't like people who rewrite history for political purposes.

They claim at great lengths that Jesus was a Jew and that our history is one of a Jewish Christian history. Historically this is not true and it is deliberately feed to us by the media with a political purpose.

Fox news is correct to say the word Christians did not exist when Jesus was alive, but they fail to say that there is no documented evidence the word Jew existed either when Jesus was alive.

Jesus was a Galilean from Galilee that shared the Hebraic beliefs of which their were many diverse Semitic peoples of ancient Palestine that shared Hebraic beliefs with various degrees of interpretation. Jesus provided his interpretation of the Hebraic religion from the point of God.

Some accepted Jesus and others rejected his message. Soon after Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans and the Hebraic peoples were splintered with pockets of ideology that followed creating their own branch of religious traditions. It is from these branches of a reorganized Hebraic religion that the word and term Jew first comes.

Western Christianity however I believe should be more accurately referred to as Greco Christian, or Roman Catholic, or even (pick your denomination) from Greco tradition and pre-Jesus Hebraic foundation. This wording reflects accurately the basis of our past cultural Christian heritage.

Fox news wants you to believe the term we know today as Jew are the same people as Jesus was so as to empower all those who would make the claim as founders of our culture and therefore our rightful rulers in law. The great thing about Christianity is that Jesus left no heir to the throne, unique among religions. Islam is a failure because of this internal preoccupation with the blood line rights of the prophets descendents, and the zionist Jews of today are not much better.

When Fox news implies Jew they are really empowering the zionist political establishment that hides behind past Jewish tragedies and stirred up anti-Semitism for political gain. This zionist political establishment is the establishment more commonly referred to as the neo-cons who have declared they are able to create their own realities and are responsible for Americas war in Iraq, Israels apartheid in the land Jesus lived (making hypocrites of Christians and Christ’s teachings), and I believe 9-11 itself. Not the people who our common Christian heritage should be attributed to IMO and it is blasphemy that a national media outlet like Fox news can get away with this underhanded erosion of truth.

Using a modern word to suplant the meaning of an historical fact with a created reality for political purposes is what Fox news delivered for Christmas IMO.

Reviewing the above post I just thought I should add a disclaimer that I have nothing against Jewish people religiously especially the True Torah type, or the John Stewart kind. The situation of a political ideology no different than communism of fascism called zionism that associates with religion complicates things. I just don't like it and got irritated by the direction of allowing people that hijack religions for a political ideology getting a foothold on redefining things like others religious history for their political ends.

I promise no more of the deep end stuff. lol

On a more simplified point than my obviously smarter than I , 250'er chadermandoo.
I like it when people say Merry Christmas to me.
I cringe when its just happy holidays or the likes.
It appears they only want the days off work and the rest is beneath them.
