Another Sponsor Landed for RBC Cup

The Royal Bank Cup has landed another major sponsor.

Re/Max Centre City Realty Prince George has  joined the ranks of "platinum" sponsorship for the tournament which will be held in Prince George May 5-13 in 2007.

Don Kehler, Co-Chair of the Host Committee, says the support from this business will help make this the best Royal Bank Cup ever.

Host Committee Co Chair Dan Rogers says the committee  expects to make more announcements in the near future. "Northern BC is passionate about hockey and we have found a number of community-minded organizations that are excited about aligning themselves with this great national championship," says Rogers.

The announcement included the unveiling of special promotional banners that will line 15th Avenue.

The event is expected to pump $1.5 million dollars into the local economy.
