Once again, the Prince George Construction Association seized the opportunity of its Annual General Meeting and Christmas Party earlier this month, to raise funds for several charities.

Today, the Association presented cheques totalling $11,600.00 to  Prince George Hospice House, HEARTS Senior’s Dinner, Christian Life Centre, Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, Seniors’ Denture Fund, Food Hampers for Seniors, baked goods for residents at Alward Place, Laurier Manor, Parkside Intermediate Care Home and Rainbow Lodge Intermediate Care Home. As well, some funds have been donated to the Night Blindness Research foundation on behalf of one our the Association’s former employees.

This is the eighth year the Construction Association has held a fundraiser at their Christms Patry President Rosalind Thorn  says "The community spirit and generosity within our Membership is truly heart warming to see. This Fundraising activity is an Association event our Members are particularly proud of. This is what Christmas is all about!"
