Cripes-I hope Kinsley managed to secure a lot of loans before his removal.
Nothing like borrowing a lot of dough for the next guy to worry about paying!
Kinsley probably was anxious to escape-no more titles for him in that area.
Whew-he is probably relieved!
Thats $17000.00 smackers per annum out of Colins $100,000.00 plus per annum salaries. He will now have to get by on the $84,000.00 per year the City pays him, making him one of the highest paid Mayors in British Columbia.
Well, I see that they have a new restuarant in Hixon so thats a good start....
I kind of looked into that property and was informed the soil around the building was contaminated. It sat unoccupied for such a long period of time I did not think it could re open as a restaurant. No soil ever got removed.
Now I am trying to recall which realtor gave me that information.
In any event-I would wish them every success as it will probably be a long haul to build the business up there.
Always nice to see progress!
I like that they have a very large parking lot with easy access to the highway. I would very much like if they could start selling Tim Horton coffees on the side. From downtown PG via old carriboo to Quesnel in the evening and night there is not one place to stop and get a coffee. They should advertise their road access IMO.
