The young man who is  accused of killing  20 year old Candace Marie Kalmokoff is making changes.

Notice was served  today that Vernon Kyle Wilson  has not only changed his lawyers, but his new legal  representatives intend to apply to have his guilty plea withdrawn.

Initially, Wilson had  been charged  with manslaughter, that charge was then upgraded to first degree murder following new sworn information,  and Wilson entered a guilty plea on a reduced charge of second degree murder.

Kalmokoff, a 20 year old  student at the College of New Caledonia was  killed  in her  Prince George apartment, her body then dumped in an alley behind a real estate office on 15th  Avenue on New Year's Day.

Wilson  and Kalmokoff knew each other, but were not romantically  involved with each other.

Wilson has been  remanded in custody  until  the next  Chamber's application which will be to set a date to hear the reasons why the guilty plea should be withdrawn.
