Godfather of Soul Dies

James Brown, known as the Godfather of Soul, has died.
Brown had pneumonia and went into hospital in Georgia Sunday and died of heart failure early Christmas Day.
Brown had earned the nickname "The hardest working man in Show Business" and was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry in 1986.
The 73 year old Brown was supposed to perform at the CN Center on the 14th of January. The CN Centre has yet to release details on ticket refunds, but it is expected refunds will be available at point of purchase.

Never be forgotten though. I'm glad they got into the habit of inducting people while they are still alive, as opposed to the old way of inducting them posthumously. It's kind of nice to know before you die that your name is going to live on.
