Roadside Stop Checks Continue

The RCMP Drinking Driving Counter Attack continues with police saying they have stopped and checked  about 5600 vehicles over the past week in the Prince George area.

Of that number,   police say  4 charges were laid for impaired driving.

A further twelve 24 hour suspensions were issued, there were three no case drug seizures, and 44 traffic charges issued.

Police are reminding  all drivers that they are stepping up their efforts during this last week of the holidays through New Year`s.
