Plea Change Hearing Set

February 12th will be the first of three days set aside to hear  why  Vernon Kyle Wilson's guilty plea  should be withdrawn.

Wilson is accused in the murder of Candace Marie Kalmakoff  New Year's Day of 2006.  Her body was discovered  behind  a real estate office on 15th Avenue in Prince George.

Initially, he was charged with manslaughter, that charge was later upgraded to murder, and Wilson entered a plea of guilty.

He now has a new lawyer, and  wants the plea withdrawn so he can proceed to trial.
