Kings Add One More

The Prince George Spruce Kings hectic day of deals ended with a fourth player acquisition. The Kings welcomed 19 year-old forward Alain Joanette from the Bancroft Hawks of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League. Prince George gave up future considerations for Joanette who is 5-9 170 lbs. In 40 games Joanette scored 20 goals and 29 assists. His penalty minutes -103.

Earlier in the day, the Kings picked up forwards Tyler Helfrich from Fort McMurray of the AJHL and Jason Yuel from the Winnipeg Saints of the MJHL plus the rights to Cougars back-up goalie Jordan White from the Quesnel Millionaires. All the acquisitions were future considerations, but the Kings also sent defenseman Bobby Hineman to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
