B.C. Hydro hopes to have some answers soon as to what caused this week's problems at the Williston Sub Station south of Prince George.

The  sub-station equipment went into protective mode resulting in a loss of electricity from parts of Quesnel north through to  Ft. St. John.  More than 33 thousand customers were in the dark from 15 minutes to a few hours.

B.C. Hydro's Bob Gammer  says  the investigation is winding down and it is hoped they will have some answers as early as later today as to the cause of the power outage and what measures can be taken to prevent it from happening again.

BCTC don't look any further
With the quick thaw maybe it was water related. Who knows. In any event they should let us know soon.
I think BC Hydro was much better as a whole entity and not a parted out privatized entity like the BC liberals want.
