Tandy Competes in 6K Pursuit at World Youth Biathlon Championships

Megan Tandy of Prince George finished 50th out of 83 today in the 6K Pursuit at the World Youth Biathlon Championships in South Tyrol, Italy. The 18-year-old from the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club is competing in her second world youth biathlon championship. Laure Bosc of France captured her second gold medal in as many races in Italy. The top Canadian, Sarah Murphy of Alberta, placed 12th overall. Tandy and teammates compete Sunday in the Youth Women 7.5K Pursuit.
