Tandy and Teammates Relay at World Youth Biathlon Championships

Megan Tandy of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club completed her second World Youth Biathlon Championship today. Tandy of Prince George and her Canadian teammates, Albertans Sarah Murphy and Tatiana Chesham, finished 6^th out of 9 teams in the Youth Women’s 3x6 K Relay at South Tyrol, Italy. Tandy's best finish at the biathlon championships was a 13^th placing out of 78 in the 10K individual race, the opening race of the international event . The UNBC student returns home with her next major competition, the Canada Winter Games, February 25 - March 10 in Whitehorse.
