City Looking For Committee Volunteers

The City of Prince George has a number of openings on its Council Committees and is hoping interested residents will get their applications in by tomorrow’s 5pm deadline.

At this time, the City Clerk’s Office is accepting applications for membership on the following Council Committees:

-  Advisory Design Panel

- Athletic Commission

-  Community Heritage Comission

-  International Linkages

-  Social Grants

-  Special Needs Advisory Committee

-  Trails Task Force (1 public-at-large member)

-  Winter City Committee

The Committees meet monthly, do research and provide information and recommendations to Council and City Staff.  Applications are available on the city’s website at:  www.city.pg.bc.ca

City Council will consider the applicants at the regular meeting on February 19th.
